Asgardeo by WSO2 is an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) solution that provides built-in IAM best practices and workflows via a range of templates and other helpful options. If you’re an application developer, Asgardeo will significantly simplify integrating login flows to your apps, and managing users.
This is our Asgardeo control centre, which we like to call the console. You can use the console to manage all your applications and users.
Integrating login flows to your applications
Asgardeo uses standard protocols such as OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect and SAML 2 to provide authentication and authorization for your applications. All you need to do when adding a login flow to your application is to select the type of application you want to build, and Asgardeo will provide you with step-by-step instructions on integrating a login flow to your application.
Asgardeo follows all the security best practices so that you don't have to worry about any additional configurations, but Asgardeo also gives you the ability to adjust configurations if you wish to do so.
Asgardeo has several SDKs, with more on the way, to help you integrate your apps with ease. If you have your own SDK, you can also use the standard endpoints defined in Asgardeo to integrate your apps.
Social logins and other external IdPs
You can add both external social and enterprise identity providers to the login flows of your apps without any code changes to your apps themselves. All you need to do is apply some simple configurations from the console, and you’re all set.
Asgardeo lets you incorporate MFA to your apps with just a few clicks and no changes to your apps themselves. You can also go a step further, and set up complex authentication processes using Asgardeo’s conditional authentication capabilities.
Asgardeo also provides comprehensive user management capabilities. User onboarding can be done manually, by using the Asgardeo API (to automate the onboarding process), or by enabling self sign-up capabilities in your application.
Some of the user administration capabilities include automatic account locking, forced password reset, and user session review and termination.
Asgardeo also allows your users to take care of themselves through a self-service portal called My Account. Here, users can manage their profile, set up their devices to manage MFA, review consent given for applications, and manage their active sessions.
The Asgardeo console has everything you need to get started, so jump right in. You can check out the full offering through the Asgardeo website, and or learn more about the capabilities of Asgardeo through our official documentation.
